The Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) submitted a comment letter to the SEC supporting approval of the PCAOB’s targeted amendments to QC 1000, A Firm’s System of Quality Control. The CAQ believes the amendments address implementation challenges, improve the operability of QC 1000, and reduce unnecessary divergence across quality management frameworks.
The letter also encourages continued implementation support and stakeholder engagement as QC 1000 becomes effective.
