Audit Committee Effectiveness: A Webinar Series
Audit committees should regularly (at least annually) evaluate the external auditor in fulfilling their duty in order to make an informed recommendation to the board whether to retain the external auditor. Robust, two-way dialogue that includes constructive feedback to the external auditor may improve audit quality and enhance the relationship between the audit committee and the external auditor.
Join us for a discussion from both sides of the aisle – audit committee members and the auditor – about how to effectively perform this assessment. We’ll discuss the just released 2025 update of the CAQ’s External Auditor Assessment Tool for Audit Committees.
Note: This webcast is eligible for 1 CPE credit to those who attend the webcast live.

Audit Committee Effectiveness: A Webinar Series is brought to you by the Center for Audit Quality and the National Association of Corporate Directors. The series explores key takeaways and insights from leaders in the financial reporting ecosystem alongside resources developed to aid audit committees and public company board members.
