CAQ Statement on the Appointment of Megan Zietsman as PCAOB Chief Auditor

Washington, DC Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) Executive Director Cindy Fornelli issued the following statement on the appointment of Megan Zietsman as Chief Auditor at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB):

“The CAQ congratulates Megan Zietsman on becoming the PCAOB’s Chief Auditor. The depth of Megan’s auditing experience is extraordinary, given both her career at Deloitte as well as her service on the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and the American Institute of CPAs’ Auditing Standards Board. We look forward to working with her to advance audit quality for the benefit of investors and the capital markets.”
