Kathryn Janisiewicz Chaney, CPA, CFE

Manager, Anti-Fraud Initiatives
 

Kathryn Janisiewicz Chaney is a Manager, Anti-Fraud Initiatives at the Center for Audit Quality. Kathryn manages and supports technical and policy-oriented projects through the Anti-Fraud Collaboration, working groups, and task forces with senior leaders in both the audit and fraud deterrence and detection spaces.

Prior to joining the CAQ, Kathryn served as a Manager within EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services practice with a primary focus in performing shadow investigations for audit clients. Kathryn also worked on a myriad of other engagements executing global compliance initiatives, litigation support, and financial investigations for private, public, and government clients. Prior to her role within EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services practice, Kathryn also spent time within EY’s audit practice, focusing on the integrated audits of companies in the real estate and hospitality industries.

Kathryn is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from American University’s Kogod School of Business.
