Research Feedback Session for Auditing Researchers
Monday, June 17, 2019
Do you have a research question that you think would benefit from feedback from a senior audit practitioner? The Center for Audit Quality is once again holding a Research Feedback Session for auditing researchers. You can receive feedback from senior audit practitioners and gain new perspectives that may help in refining and further developing your research question. A similar session held at the 2019 AAA Auditing Section Midyear Meeting was very successful, and the comments received from those selected to participate was extremely positive.
The next Research Feedback Session will be held virtually (using Zoom Video Conferencing) in late October.
These sessions are available to all academics that conduct auditing research – from PhD students to full professors. The RAB supports studies employing a wide range of research methodologies, including archival studies, meta analyses, modeling, literature reviews, behavioral/experimental research studies, and descriptive analyses.
The CAQ will be accepting applications via email between Monday, July 1 – Friday, September 13. Submissions must be received no later than 8:00pm EDT, Friday, September 13, 2019.
- To apply for this opportunity, send your project’s Kinney Three Paragraphs (up to two pages) to firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also include up to three questions you would like the practitioners to be prepared to answer.
- Submissions that do not include a Kinney Three Paragraphs write up will not be considered.
- Space is limited, and we expect demand to be high, so researchers will be chosen via a lottery.
- Those selected will receive a confirmation email by Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
