CAQ Statement on Election of Carmine Di Sibio as Next EY Global Chairman and CEO

Washington, DC – Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) Executive Director Cindy Fornelli issued the following statement in response to the announcement that Carmine Di Sibio will become EY Global’s Chairman and CEO, effective July 1, 2019:
“The CAQ congratulates Carmine Di Sibio on his election to become the next EY Global Chairman and CEO. Carmine is a proven leader who brings to bear an extraordinary set of experiences, skills, and vision at a moment when the public company auditing profession is rising to address the challenges and opportunities of transformative times. We wish Carmine well in his new role and look forward to working with him.”
