CAQ Statement on Departure of SEC Deputy Chief Accountant Brian T. Croteau

Washington, DC — Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) Executive Director Cindy Fornelli wished Securities and Exchange Commission Deputy Chief Accountant Brian T. Croteau well as he announced his departure from the Commission Friday:

“It has been a great pleasure working with Brian these last six years. Brian has a deep understanding of accounting and audit matters, and the profession has benefitted significantly from his dedication, his willingness to engage in dialogue, and his contributions to public policy. We thank Brian for his public service and wish him the very best with future endeavors.”
