The CAQ, in partnership with the Audit Committee Collaboration, has released an updated version of the External Auditor Assessment Tool, which is designed to assist audit committees in carrying out their responsibilities of appointing and overseeing the external auditor. As a companion to the tool, this video features interviews with leading audit committee chairs discussing the importance of the assessment process as well as how they put the tool to work.
