Senior Manager of Governance and Talent
Crystal Cooke is a Senior Manager of Governance and Talent at the Center for Audit Quality. With the CAQ since 2007, her responsibilities include managing Governing Board operations, managing CAQ financial reporting and budgeting processes, and overseeing a collaboration of CAQ member firms to develop programs and educational resources designed to broaden the pipeline of underrepresented minorities electing to enter the public company auditing profession. Cooke also facilitates partnerships between key diverse organizations, academics, and the public company auditing profession.
Prior to joining the CAQ, Crystal spent seven years in the assurance practice at KPMG LLP in Washington DC and worked in internal audit at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio for two years. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BBA in accounting.
