WHAT: A new survey from the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) shows that U.S. retail investors continue to have robust confidence in U.S. capital markets while becoming increasingly leery of those abroad. It also shows that the views of millennial investors for the most part mirror those of previous generations when it comes to confidence in U.S. capital markets.
Cindy Fornelli, the CAQ’s Executive Director, will highlight and detail these and other findings from the CAQ’s ninth annual Main Street Investor Survey, which measures retail investor confidence in U.S. capital markets, global capital markets, and audited financial information, as well as investing in publicly traded companies.
The theme of the 2015 survey, the "Investor of the Future," includes results from millennial investors—those between the ages of 18 and 34.
