CAQ Congratulates Alan Beller on His Appointment as Trustee of the IFRS Foundation

Washington, DC – The Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) issued the following statement by Executive Director Cindy Fornelli in reaction to the appointment of Cleary Gottlieb Partner Alan Beller as a Trustee of the IFRS Foundation, which is responsible for the governance and oversight of the International Accounting Standards Board:

“It is a pleasure to congratulate Alan Beller on becoming a Trustee of the IFRS Foundation. The CAQ has worked extensively with Alan on key issues facing public company auditors, and we have benefited from his deep experience, in both private practice and public service, in corporate governance and finance. As it carries out its important work, the IFRS Foundation is fortunate to have Alan as a Trustee.”
